Overview
This is an automatic action that adds text content to a file as one or more new pages. The added pages are inserted either before the existing document or after it — the original pages are not modified.
For example, in a contract workflow, you can use it to append a cover letter, a terms-and-conditions appendix, or a per-file summary built from metadata such as the approver's name and the approval date.
Rules
- The text is added to brand-new pages — existing pages of the document are not modified
- Multiple pages may be added, depending on the added text

- Page break — inserts a marker that starts a new page at that point in the inserted content
- The text may also include file metadata tokens (e.g. the file name and any metadata captured earlier in the workflow). Tokens are inserted from the metadata picker and resolved at runtime.
- Maximum text length is 10000 characters
- The text field cannot be empty. Whitespace, formatting tags, and page-break markers on their own do not count as content.
- It is composed in a rich-text editor with the following formatting available:
- "How to add text" controls where the new pages are placed in the document:
- At the beginning — inserted pages appear before the original document.
- At the end — inserted pages appear after the original document
